Day 1

Calgary

Upon your arrival in Calgary, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Please take some time to settle in before joining your APT Tour Director and fellow travellers for an introductory welcome dinner.

Banff

Travel from Calgary to Banff, where you will enjoy two exclusive Signature Experiences:

  • Canadian Hockey Experience: Step onto the ice for a two-hour, hands-on session. Designed for beginners, this immersive activity provides an engaging introduction to Canada’s most beloved sport.

Banff to Lake Louise

Today, visit the breathtaking Moraine Lake (season permitting), nestled within the spectacular Valley of the Ten Peaks. Afterwards, proceed to Lake Louise, widely known as the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’. This evening, you have the flexibility to dine at your leisure, choosing from your hotel’s selection of restaurants

Day 5

Lake Louise to Jasper

Today’s journey takes you along the iconic Icefields Parkway. A highlight of the morning is a stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you will embark on an exhilarating Ice Explorer ride across the Athabasca Glacier. Afterwards, you will continue towards Jasper, pausing en route to admire the power of Athabasca Falls.
Upon arrival at your lodge this evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner before taking part in an exclusive Signature Experience. See the First Nations Warrior Women Performance and captivated by a stirring performance of traditional songs and drumming from the First Nations Warrior Women. This moving experience offers a unique insight into Indigenous culture, weaving together the profound legends of the Cree people and the stories of the land.

Kamloops to Vancouver onboard Rocky Mountaineer Train

Your journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer continues west today as you travel towards Vancouver. Keep your camera ready to capture the striking orange truss bridge at Cisco Crossing and witness the dramatic, turbulent waters as they crash through Hell’s Gate along the route.

Vancouver

Day 3 – Banff
Option 1: Banff Locals, Lakes, and Gems Tour

Feel the thrill of the open road as you explore Jasper’s breathtaking wilderness on a chauffeured motorcycle sidecar tour—a truly memorable way to take in the scenery.

Option 2: Maligne Valley Tour with Hike
Discover the stunning natural wonder of Maligne Canyon. On this guided hike, keep your camera ready to spot diverse wildlife, including osprey, eagles, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, elk, deer, and bears.

Option 3: Maligne Valley Tour with Cruise
Cruise across the glacial waters of Maligne Lake, set against a dramatic backdrop of jagged mountain peaks. This excursion takes you to the iconic Spirit Island, a destination accessible only by boat.

Option 4: River Rafting
