Fly to Calgary
Pick up your hire car and drive to Banff – approximately 1.5hrs away.

Day 2
Banff
Spend the day exploring Banff and the surrounding area – we suggest taking a trip on the Banff Gondola, visiting the famous Fairmont Banff Springs hotel or taking a boat trip out on Lake Minnewanka. In the evening, sample the offerings from the numerous bars and restaurants in the area.

Day 3
Banff to Lake Louise
Although Banff to Lake Louise is just an hour-long drive, there’s no need to rush as you’ll be treated to a host of beautiful scenery along the way. Go hiking to see the waterfalls at Johnston Canyon – the views are amazing. Further along the route to Lake Louise, you can turn off the road just outside the area and visit Moraine Lake too. Once you’ve arrived in Lake Louise, a visit to the Fairmont Lake Louise is a must – why not upgrade your hotel and stay in this amazing property overlooking the lake for a truly memorable experience.

Day 4
Lake Louise to Jasper
Take a scenic drive through Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway, where you’ll pass Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls. Without stopping, this drive takes around three hours – with the countless photo opportunities and wildlife viewing en-route, this picturesque journey will take you most of the day.

Day 5
Jasper National Park
Spend the morning experiencing the beauty and magnificence of Jasper National Park and its many natural features. Afterwards, the day is yours to spend seeing more of Jasper – the hotel is ideally situated close to the rail station and the car rental depot, so we recommend dropping your car off this afternoon before 5pm (office closes at 5pm). There is a one-way drop off fee of approximately $225.

Day 6
Jasper to Kamloops
Take a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Kamloops today, heading southwest through the dramatic and diverse scenery of the Continental Divide. You’ll see Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls and the climb over Yellowhead Pass, before journeying along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops.

Day 7
Kamloops to Vancouver
Head west for Vancouver today, passing along the Thompson River and Fraser Canyon on your way towards to the Pacific Ocean. The rail segment of your journey ends upon arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Day 8
Vancouver
Enjoy a full day to explore the delights of Vancouver today – you can either see the sights independently or you can pre-book some excursions to make the most of your time in the city.

Day 9
Vancouver / Alaska Cruise
Check out of your hotel this morning and independently transfer to the Vancouver cruise terminal where you’ll board your Celebrity Cruise Ship and be welcomed by the crew – your hosts for the next seven nights. Spend time getting to know the layout of the ship and the various amenities before watching the sun set over the waters.

Inside Passage
Set sail along the Inside Passage this morning, where the gems and striking natural beauty of Alaska will reveal themselves to you from beyond the deck rails. Admire the view of fjords, glaciers and snow-capped peaks, keeping watch for whales and sea lions which can often be seen en-route.

Day 11
Icy Strait Point
80km west of Juneau and found at the mouth of Glacier Bay lies the historic Icy Straight Point. You’ll have chance to experience Tlingit culture, watch out for amazing wildlife viewing opportunities and explore years of Alaskan history with optional excursions offered by Celebrity Cruises.

Hubbard Glacier
Hubbard Glacier, the only glacier in the world that doesn’t move at a glacial pace, is where you’ll find yourself today. Watch as the ship sails through Yakutat Bay, with years of geological history unfolding before you.

Day 13
Port of Juneau
Juneau – a city where eco-adventure meets cosmopolitan city life and prospector legacies. This fun destination is your base for the day, giving you chance to experience the beauty and rich culture found here in abundance. There are many places to visit in port – you can either explore on your own or take advantage of some excursions and activities.

Day 14
Port of Ketchikan
Cruise down the coast to Ketchikan today, the ancestral home of the Tlingit tribe. It’s also the departure point for the optional seaplane excursion into the Misty Fjords National Monument! This area boasts the largest collection of totem poles in the world – you may want to visit the Saxman Native Village, Totem Bight State Park or the Totem Heritage Centre.

Day 15
Inside Passage
The ship will slowly retrace its journey along the Alaskan and British Columbia coastlines today, giving you another chance to watch the scenery slowly and subtly change as you make your way into the southern and warmer climates of the Pacific Northwest area.

Vancouver
Early this morning you will arrive into the port of Vancouver and disembark the Celebrity Infinity. You will need to transfer independently to Vancouver’s International Airport in time to check in for your return flight.
