Day 1
Fly to Calgary
Arrive into Calgary International Airport and independently transfer to your centrally-located hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for you to explore. You’ll be contacted in the late afternoon by your Tour Director who will provide you with details of the tour. Explore the Old West at the Glenbow Museum or Fort Calgary on your own, or head to the Eau Claire Market. Alternatively, ride up the Calgary Tower for amazing views before enjoying the multitude of great restaurants and nightlife spots.

Day 2
Calgary to Banff National Park
Begin the day with a tour of Calgary then leave the city to travel west on the Trans-Canada Highway into the striking foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Soon you’ll be able to witness the stunning beauty of the peaks of the Rocky Mountains as you approach Banff National Park. You’ll arrive at the charming resort of Banff later for your overnight stay.

Day 3
Banff National Park
Today you’ll enjoy a tour of the Banff region which became Canada’s first national park in 1885 to protect the natural hot springs. There’s an optional Helicopter Sightseeing Tour to give you the unique perspective of the eastern ranges of the Rocky Mountains. Alternatively you can take an optional gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain – an amazing spot with spectacular views so don’t forget your camera! The remainder of the day is at leisure so you can explore the surroundings of Banff and enjoy the scenery.

Day 4
Banff National Park to Jasper National Park
Journey through the Banff and Jasper National Parks today, sure to be one of the highlights of the whole trip. Shortly after leaving Banff you’ll visit Lake Louise which is a truly beautiful area and renowned as a stunning part of this region. Afterwards, travel north to the famous Icefields Parkway, edged by rugged mountain ranges. Once you’ve arrived at the Columbia Icefield, board a specially-constructed Ice Explorer so you can ride on the surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. There’s an optional raft trip on the Athabasca River, where you’re experienced guide can highlight the natural and human history of this area.

Day 5
Jasper National Park to Kamloops
Before leaving Jasper National Park in the morning, you can take part in an optional Spirit Island Cruise on Maligne Lake – this is the most stunning and largest glacier-fed lake in the whole park. Afterwards you’ll travel west along the Yellowhead Highway and into the heartland of British Columbia. The awe-inspiring views await you in every season and are truly breath-taking. The route takes you along the Thompson River and through the Shuswap Highlands.

Day 6
Kamloops to Whistler
There’s a host of dramatic scenery on offer today as you drive through the ranch lands to the coastal mountains. Your journey takes you along the Duffey Lake Road and proffers new vistas at every turn. There’s an optional Floatplane Sightseeing Tour over Garibaldi Park, providing an inspiring view of the volcanic peaks, lush meadows and alpine lakes. Alternatively, embark on an optional Tree Trek Canopy Walk through the treetops of Whistler on Blackcomb Mountains, before enjoying the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 7
Whistler to Victoria
The Sea-to-Sky Highway leads us south through spectacular coastal scenery today. Cruise by ferry from Horseshoe Bay across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island, then continue by coach to Victoria – the capital of British Columbia. Arrive into Victora and embark on a city tour to get to know this area a little better.

Day 8
Victoria
Victoria has a colonial and quaint demeanour, with a rich maritime heritage and beautiful 19th century landmarks. Today you’ll take part in a tour of the world-famous Butchart Gardens, one of the world’s greatest floral displays situated in a reclaimed stone quarry. You’ll have some time here to browse the gardens, and you can take part in an optional Floatplane Sightseeing Tour overlooking downtown Victoria and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with the Olympic Mountains in the distance. You can also go on an optional whale-watching excursion aboard a Zodiac or regular vessel, where you can watch for the magnificent orcas and numerous marine species. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city’s delights.

Day 9
Victoria to Vancouver
Continue through the resort region of the Gulf Islands to the ocean-side city of Vancouver. Once you’ve arrived, enjoy a fascinating tour of the city which includes Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Chinatown, and many more interesting locations. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore on your own, before enjoying a farewell dinner in the evening at the Capilano Suspension Bridge with a welcome from First Nations carvers.

Day 10
End of tour
There’s some time this morning for last-minute shopping and farewells before making your individual transfer to Vancouver International Airport in time for your return flight.
