Mont Tremblant holidays - Awe-inspiring, fun and historic

The walkable village of Mont Tremblant, located about 80 miles north of Montreal in the Laurentian Mountains, is most famous for hosting the Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort, but it offers a whole lot more. While it boasts one of the most vibrant après-ski scenes in the region, the town itself is nearly acclaimed as the mountain, as a popular year-round getaway.

A great place to get back to nature in a relaxed way

Mont-Tremblant is made up of three villages: The pedestrian Resort Village, set at the foot of the mountain hosting multiple eateries, bars, boutiques, accommodations, pretty pastel homes and more along its cobbled streets; the charming and tranquil Old Village at the edge of Lake Mercer, home to top-notch restaurants, boutiques and quaint B&Bs; and, Downtown, the city center and commercial district.

The winter season brings countless skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts to soar down the slopes of Mont-Tremblant, bit visitors have access to all sorts of other activities too, from dog sledding, sleigh rides and snowmobiling to ice climbing and everything in between. During the warmer months of the year, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, canoeing, gondola rides and golfing on two world-class 18-hole golf courses. After a day of play in the Great Outdoors during any season, the Resort Village’s own La Source Aquaclub offers heated indoor pools, whirlpools and a eucalyptus steam bath that’s heavenly for soothing sore muscles.

Located on the shores of Lake Mercer, between Downtown and the Resort Village, the Old Tremblant Village is especially picturesque and offers a quiet retreat with easy access to golf and water sports like swimming and sailing in the summer. The cross-country ski trail that traverses through connects to the Resort Village, and serves as a cycling path when the ski season has ended.
