Day 1

Calgary

Welcome to Calgary! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, join your fellow travellers and Tour Director for a Welcome Reception—the perfect opportunity to get acquainted as your adventure begins.

Day 2

Calgary to Banff

Depart for Banff National Park this morning. En route, enjoy an Insider Experience at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, where you will interact with majestic wolfdogs and learn about vital conservation efforts. Upon arrival in Banff, take a sightseeing tour to explore the town’s stunning surroundings.

Day 3

Banff

During your stay in Banff, personalise your experience by choosing one of the excursions included in your tour. Click on Optional Excursions for further information on each tour

Day 4

Banff to Lake Louise

Journey to the stunning, glacier-fed waters of Moraine Lake (seasonal access) before continuing to the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’, iconic Lake Louise. Spend your afternoon exploring this remarkable destination before settling into your hotel for the evening.

Day 5

Lake Louise to Jasper

Embark on a journey along the iconic Icefields Parkway this morning—arguably one of the world's most beautiful drives. This 232-kilometre highway winds through the majestic Canadian Rockies, offering awe-inspiring vistas at every turn. You will pause at the Columbia Icefield for an exhilarating Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier, before crossing the Continental Divide to reach the picturesque alpine town of Jasper, nestled within the tranquil Jasper National Park.

Overnight: Marmot Lodge or similar. Breakfast included

Day 6

Jasper to Blue River

Begin your day at the base of the spectacular Mount Robson before continuing to Blue River for an Insider Experience. Embark on a remarkable River Safari, cruising along glacier-fed waterways where you can keep a keen eye out for wildlife whilst soaking in stunning views. Afterwards, continue your scenic journey to the picturesque Mike Wiegele Heli Village.

Or alternatively, choose to travel to Vancouver via the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer Rail  across two days. You’ll travel through the stunning landscapes and overnighting in Kamloops before reaching Vancouver late in the evening and rejoining the group. Ask our Travel Specialists on this option. Please note if choosing Rocky Mountaineer this part is not escorted.

Day 7

Blue River to Vancouver

Journey through the rugged landscapes of the Cariboo region, on your way to Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver, enjoy time at leisure to explore this beautiful cosmopolitan city.

Day 8

Vancouver

Explore Vancouver’s highlights, from the vibrant Waterfront to historic Gastown, on an engaging sightseeing tour. Further customise your stay with these Optional Excursions included in your tour

Day 3 – Banff

Day 11 - Victoria
Option 1: Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour
Experience Victoria’s culture and history on a traditional carriage ride. See James Bay waterfront, Beacon Hill Park, and view traditional First Nations totem poles at Thunderbird Park.

Option 2: Whale-Watching Tour
Spot British Columbia’s enchanting marine wildlife. Choose between a high-energy Zodiac or a luxury motor yacht for the chance to see whales and sea lions in their natural habitat

Please note: 20 April 2027 departure will stay at Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge Sun Peaks Inn in lieu of Mike Wiegele Blue River. Blue River Safari is not available

The Athabasca Glacier Ice Explorer may not operate until early May. If unavailable, a refund or alternative will be offered on tour
