Overview

This 12-day escorted tour takes you on a wonderful adventure through the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Beginning and ending in the charming city of Vancouver, you’ll spend time in Victoria on Vancouver Island before heading up into the famous Rockies. You will see many stunning sights such as Lake Louise and the Athabasca Glacier, and you’ll tour beautiful National Parks such as Banff, Jasper and Yoho (TT - CS).

Day 1

Arrive in Vancouver

Today you’ll arrive in the beautiful city of Vancouver. Settle in o your hotel and then meet with the rest of your group and the tour manager

Day 2

Vancouver to Victoria

This morning, tour Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood, Gastown, a National Historic Site. Visit vibrant Chinatown and see the famous totem poles at Stanley Park. Admire Stanley Park’s iconic totem poles before boarding the ferry to Vancouver Island and driving into British Columbia’s capital, Victoria. After docking at Swartz Bay, you’ll notice the city’s charming English influence. Enjoy an orientation tour along the waterfront and through downtown, passing the Parliament Buildings, Government Street, and Beacon Hill Park. The evening is yours to explore or dine with new friends.

Day 3

Victoria

Spend the morning exploring the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a century-old estate featuring sunken, rose, Japanese, Italian, and Mediterranean gardens—perfect for stunning photos. The rest of the day is yours to discover Victoria at your own pace. Join an optional whale-watching cruise to spot orcas, bald eagles, porpoises, and seals.

Day 4

Victoria – Chemainus – Vancouver – Whistler

Begin the day in Chemainus, a seaside town famous for its colourful outdoor murals. Then board the ferry across the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay and travel the stunning Sea-to-Sky Highway. Enjoy views of waterfalls, rugged peaks, and the sparkling waters of Howe Sound, with a stop at Shannon Falls, British Columbia’s third-highest waterfall. End the day in the alpine village of Whistler, nestled beneath the Blackcomb Mountains.

Day 5

Whistler

Spend the day exploring Whistler, a breathtaking alpine playground. Hike or bike scenic trails, wander the charming village lanes, or choose from thrilling optional experiences. Join a bear-viewing tour with a wildlife photographer, go whitewater rafting, or zip-line at 100 km/h through mountain wilderness—each adventure more exhilarating than the last!

Day 6

Whistler – Sun Peaks

Start the day with a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® breakfast at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, where you’ll experience Indigenous culture through food, song, and dance. Enjoy bannock and other local Flavors while cultural ambassadors share stories from the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations. Then journey along the scenic Duffey Lake Road, passing Seton Lake and Mount Rohr. Following the historic Cariboo Wagon Trail of the Gold Rush era, you’ll arrive in the alpine resort village of Sun Peaks.

Day 7

Sun Peaks – Jasper

Travel through the beautiful prairie provinces along the Yellowhead Highway, passing white-fenced ranch lands with the Columbia Mountains on the horizon. Catch your first glimpse of Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies, before continuing to the welcoming mountain town of Jasper, nestled in the heart of UNESCO-listed Jasper National Park.

Day 8

Jasper National Park

Step outside and breathe in the fresh mountain air as you anticipate a day of exploration in the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies. With a free day to explore, how about taking advantage of the optional excursions? Visit the stunning Maligne Lake for a seasonal boat cruise on its glacial waters. Food enthusiasts can enjoy a Jasper Food Tour or an E-bike Food Tour downtown. For active adventures, join a guided nature hike to experience the park’s majestic scenery on foot, or embark on a Jasper Raft Tour for a waterborne perspective.

Day 9

Jasper – Icefield Parkway – Lake Louise – Banff

Next, journey to the awe-inspiring Columbia Icefield along the stunning Icefields Parkway. Ride the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier for a close encounter with this natural wonder. Exiting Jasper National Park, enter UNESCO-listed Banff National Park. Prepare to be captivated by Lake Louise, renowned for its breathtaking beauty, before continuing to Canmore for the night.

Banff

Today’s all about freedom—relax in Banff or amp up the adventure with epic Choice Experiences. Catch a Moraine Lake sunrise with a Local Guide, dive into Indigenous wisdom on the Mahikan Medicine Walk, or take to the skies on a helicopter tour over Mt. Assiniboine or the Three Sisters. Prefer a slower pace? Ride the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for dinner with unbeatable summit views.

Day 11

Banff – Vernon

Today’s drive ascends to cross the Continental Divide at Kicking Horse Pass, with a stop at the Spiral Tunnels to witness one of the world’s steepest railroad stretches. Traverse three national parks, descending through snow-capped peaks to the lush wineries and orchards of the Okanagan Valley, known as Canada’s ‘fruit basket’. Indulge in a tasting at Larch Hills Winery before continuing to Vernon, the region’s unofficial capital.

Day 12

Vernon – Vancouver

Journey across the Cascade Mountains and through the scenic Fraser River Valley, arriving back in Vancouver where your Canadian adventure comes to an end.

Last day airport transfer will be at 3:30p.m, please be aware when booking your flights that the departure flight should be no earlier than 6:30pm
