Overview
A trip of a lifetime, cruising north from Seattle to the spectacular state of Alaska. You'll have to time to explore the lovely city of Seattle at the beginning of your holiday, with three nights to acclimatise, before boarding the Norwegian Pearl. Then you will head north along the coast of British Columbia, until you reach Icy Strait Point in Alaska, the perfect stop to experience authentic regional culture alongside incredible natural beauty. You will continue to Skagway, a remote town at the centre of the Gold Rush in the 1890's, now perfectly preserved. Glacier Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and will be a highlight of your holiday. Returning south you will visit Ketchikan Alaska and Victoria British Columbia, before finally returning to Seattle.
The Norwegian Pearl, was refurbished in 2017 and offers a lovely level of comfort with great facilities. With 16 dining options, 15 bars & lounges, a casino, spa and bowling alley, you will be spoilt for choice.

Day 1 - 3
Seattle
Fly into Seattle and spend 3 nights in Seattle at the Kimpton Alexis hotel which is a great base for exploring the city. Here you will find swathes of evergreen trees, mountain backdrops and vibrant neighbourhoods. Take a look at the Top 10 Things to Do in Seattle.

Day 4
Norwegian Pearl Embarkation
Check out of your hotel today and board NCL Pearl for the start of your cruise adventure around 4pm
Day 5
At Sea
Today will be spent at sea, heading up north along the coast of Vancouver Island, towards Alaska.
Day 6
Icy Strait Point, Alaska
The first port of call is Icy Strait Point and here you have a variety of shore excursions to choose from, including a Whale and Marine Mammals Cruise or a visit to a Tlingit village to enjoy displays of dancing and art.
Day 7
Skagway
Skagway, Alaska, has a history rooted in the gold rush, when gold was first discovered here in 1896 in a tributary of the Klondike River. Today, it’s better known for the remarkable golden sunsets that bathe this historical town in a yellow hue. The natural beauty and interesting history of this area makes for a great place to explore.
Day 8
Glacier Bay
Spanning millions of acres of jagged mountains, rainforests and secluded fjords, Glacier Bay is a haven of possibilities for adventurers. This is one of the real highlights of the Inside Passage of Alaska, home to various wildlife species and staggeringly beautiful scenery. Today you’ll spend your time cruising through the bay, with time to admire the view and look out for the fascinating wildlife along the way.
Day 9
Ketchikan
Boasting a strong Native Alaskan culture and a strong fishing industry, Ketchikan is a unique and interesting place to visit. The native Tlingit totem poles, Tongass National Forest and the Misty Fjords National Monument are just a handful of the reasons why this area is a great place to explore. Situated at the southernmost entrance to the Inside Passage, Ketchikan is an idyllic and peaceful destination.
Day 10
Victoria, British Columbia
You will call in at Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia, and will be able to spend the evening strolling the beautiful harbourfront, and perhaps take the optional excursion to the stunning Butchart Gardens, where the winding paths are illuminated in the evening.
Day 11
Seattle
Return to Seattle in the morning in time for your evening flight home.
