Day 1

St. John’s

Touch down in St John’s, Newfoundland, North America’s oldest city. Transfer independently to your hotel from the airport and freshen up at your own pace. After meeting your CEO and fellow travellers, soak up the maritime atmosphere. Why not join the group for a welcome dinner at a local harbour-side eatery? It’s the perfect start to your epic Newfoundland expedition.

Day 2

St John’s to Bonavista (185 miles)

Explore Signal Hill’s rugged trails before visiting the charming, European-style lanes of Brigus. Discover a hidden harbour tunnel and sample famous blueberry pastries. Later, enjoy an orientation walk in historic Trinity, followed by an optional sunset hike up Gun Hill for breath taking coastal views. Overnight in Trinity for two nights.

Day 3

Bonavista

Stroll to the Elliston cliffs to witness nesting puffins in their natural habitat. After a free morning, join your CEO for a scenic hike. Depending on the weather, you’ll trek coastal loops featuring dramatic sea stacks, icebergs, and perhaps a sighting of breaching whales.

Overnight: Bishop White Manor or similar. Breakfast included.

Day 4

Bonavista to Twillingate (195 miles)

Journey through Gander towards Twillingate, the heart of "Iceberg Alley." Spend your afternoon exploring the rugged coastline or visiting local art galleries. For a true thrill, book a boat tour to see 12,000-year-old ice giants and humpback whales up close from the water.

Overnight: Anchor Inn/ B&B or similar. Breakfast included.

Day 5

Twillingate to Rocky Harbour (285 miles)

Travel to King’s Point to tackle the Alexander Murray trail—a challenging 2,200-step climb rewarded with incredible summit panoramas. Alternatively, explore the local pottery galleries and heritage houses. End the day in Rocky Harbour, the gateway to the magnificent Gros Morne National Park.

Day 6

Gros Morne National Park

Discover the geological wonders of this UNESCO site. Visit Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse before hiking to Western Brook Pond. Board a boat to cruise through a spectacular landlocked fjord, flanked by billion-year-old cliffs and cascading waterfalls, whilst enjoying a delicious packed lunch on board.

Day 7

Gros Morne and Deer Lake (45 miles)

Catch a boat shuttle across Bonne Bay to historic Woody Point, enjoying views of the Tablelands. Hike through the unique, Mars-like landscape of the Winter House Brook Canyon. Finally, transfer to Deer Lake for a free evening to visit the local craft brewery and overnight in this quaint town.

Overnight: Deer Lake Motel or similar. Breakfast included.

Day 8

Deer Lake

Enjoy a final breakfast with the group before your adventure concludes. Depart at any time, or how about extending your stay to further explore the wild beauty of Canada’s easternmost province? Make your way independently to Deer Lake airport for your flight home.
