Arrive in Halifax and transfer independently to your downtown Halifax hotel. Perhaps stroll the Waterfront Boardwalk or talk the short climb to the top of Citadel Hill. In the early afternoon join the wonderful Halifax Harbourfront Food Walking Tour (included), to sample some of the region’s most beloved local specialties - oysters, seafood chowder, donair and lobster roll.

Overnight: Sutton Hotel Halifax or Prince George Hotel

Day 2

Halifax – Peggy’s Cove – Lunenburg (60 miles)

Pick up your hire car for a short drive to Peggy’s Cove. Witness dramatic waves crash over the rocks and visit Nova Scotia’s most iconic lighthouse. Then head to Tom’s Lobster Shack for some quintessential Nova Scotia fare—delicious lobster rolls. After lunch, get back on the road for a scenic drive along the South Shore to the seafaring town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take in the town’s colourful and historic waterfront and more on the Lunenburg Hidden Gems Tour and discover beautifully crafted spirits on a tasting at Ironworks Distillery before tucking in for the night. Or explore White Point Beach Resort, where you can unwind by the ocean and take a leisurely walk along the sandy shores. As the sun sets, why not indulge in a scenic dinner at Elliot’s Dining Room, overlooking the rolling waves of the Atlantic.

Overnight: Bluenose Lodge Inn or Lunenburg Arms Hotel

Day 3

Lunenburg – Grand-Pre/ Wolfville (85 miles)

Drive along the highway for two hours and you’ll find yourself in Nova Scotia’s stunning wine region, where you'll be staying for two nights. Discover expertly crafted wines and Nova Scotia’s signature Tidal Bay wine on a Grand-Pré Winery Tour. After a day of tastings, enjoy a gourmet dinner at Le Caveau or take in the tides from your oceanfront table at Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound and Restaurant that overlooks the Bay of Fundy.

Overnight: Inn at Grand Pre Inn Winery or Tattingstone Inn

Day 4

Grand-Pre/ Wolfville – Annapolis Valley – Grand-Pre/ Wolfville (100 miles)

A day to relax and explore the delights of the Annapolis Valley. You could explore the Grand Pré National Historic Site, then enjoy a farm-to-table lunch. Visit Foxhill Farm & Cheese House offering over 20 varieties of cheese using milk from their own herd of Holstein cows or enjoy a cider from apples grown in the nearby orchards at The Annapolis Cider Company, then end your day with a scenic drive through orchards and rolling hills.

Overnight: Overnight: Inn at Grand Pre Inn Winery or Tattingstone Inn

Day 5

Grand-Pre/ Wolfville – Wallace (145 miles)

Today’s destination, and your home for the next two nights, is the lovely Fox Harb’r Resort, set against a stunning coastal backdrop. This spectacular resort offers timeless luxury in a mesmerising place. Tour their onsite vineyard, stay and play a round of golf, go on a spa retreat, or try your hand at axe throwing, archery, fat bike riding, and so many more activities to choose from. After your fun-filled day, unwind with an unforgettable culinary experience at Cape Cliff Fine Dining Room.

Day 6

Northumberland Coast/ Wallace – Cheticamp (200 miles)

Trade the rolling orchards of the Sunrise Trail for the rugged majesty of the Cabot Trail. Journey from Wallace across the Canso Causeway to where the mountains meet the sea.
