Celebrate British Columbia’s spectacular cosmopolitan and natural diversity on this five-night package that boasts the best the province has to offer. Begin with a night in the sparkling oceanside city of Vancouver before departing for a night in the small town of Campbell River on Vancouver Island. The following day, board a floatplane for a scenic flight to the mouth of the Glendale River and home of the Knight Inlet Lodge. The lodge floats on large cedar log booms and accommodates 26 people in rustic luxury rooms complete with private bathrooms. All meals are served in a large post and beam dining hall. Knight Inlet Lodge is a full service property with a gift shop, steam rooms, hot tub and guest lounges. Lodge guides that specialize in bear and wildlife viewing will ensure you enjoy two days of unforgettable experiences in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest forest. Spend a final day in Vancouver to reflect on your quintessential western Canada vacation.

Day 1

Fly to Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer independently to your hotel for your one-night stay. The remainder of the day is yours at leisure to enjoy waterside markets, patios and glorious urban parklands that make Vancouver a world famous destination.

Day 2

VANCOUVER TO CAMPBELL RIVER
Today you check out of your hotel and independently transfer to Vancouver’s South Terminal for your one hour flight to Campbell River. Upon arrival, proceed to Heron’s Landing Hotel for your overnight stay.
Overnight: Heron’s Landing Hotel in Campbell River.

Day 3-4

CAMPBELL RIVER TO KNIGHT INLET
After an 08:30 transfer from your hotel to the floatplane base, you will depart at 09:30 on a short flight to Knight Inlet Lodge. Once settled in at the lodge, and following a brief orientation, you will embark on a small boat excursion in the estuary. Over the next 2 days you will enjoy several excursions and activities including two 2-hour tours: a bearviewing tour (by boat in the spring and summer and on a viewing platform from late August to October), and a Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise. You will be accompanied on all excursions by a knowledgeable guide trained in the local wildlife and natural history of the area. In the evening relax in the lounge while enjoying an interpretive presentation by one of the guides. Breakfast at Heron’s Landing Hotel and full board while at the lodge.

Day 5

KNIGHT INLET TO CAMPBELL RIVER & VANCOUVER
On your day of departure you have the opportunity to go on a final bearviewing boat excursion before your 10:00 return transfer to Campbell river by floatplane, followed by your return to flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival at Vancouver’s South Terminal, transfer independently to your downtown Vancouver hotel for your one night stay.
Overnight: Coast Coal Harbour Hotel.

Day 6

END OF PACKAGE
Upon check out, your package comes to an end. Transfer independently to the airport for your return flight.

Arrive back in the UK

• Please be advised that all Knight Inlet bookings are on a request basis only, which generally results in longer response time
• The lodge rooms do not have telephone or television. Public phone is available
• All guests are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to departure
• Guests are allowed one 17 kg bag and a small carry-on on all packages. Any excess luggage is subject to a surcharge. Excess luggage can be stored at the floatplane terminal at no charge
• Daily activities may be modified depending on weather and water level conditions
• Guests will be divided into groups upon arrival at the resort so that you experience the true magnificence of the inlet in small, well organized teams of maximum 8 guests (the lodge can accommodate 26 guests at one time)
