Day 1

Vancouver

Touchdown in beautiful British Columbia. Either take a taxi or the Skytrain to your downtown hotel and let the refreshing Pacific breeze welcome you to this world-class destination. Freshen up before spending a glorious evening strolling along the spectacular waterfront, where you can admire Vancouver's glowing mountain backdrop and striking urban architecture. Celebrated for its vibrant multi-cultural culinary scene and rich Asian influence, the city is a paradise for food lovers. For a truly special treat, we highly recommend sampling the exquisite, flame-seared sushi at Miku Vancouver.

When it comes to resting your head, you are spoilt for choice. Opt for our highly popular best-seller, the Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown, upgrade to the elegant boutique charm of the Auberge Vancouver, or truly splash out with a luxurious stay at one of the city's iconic Fairmont properties.

Day 2

Vancouver

Start your morning like a true local by grabbing a coffee and a classic breakfast bite from the iconic Tim Hortons. Today, why not cross the breathtaking Capilano Suspension Bridge? A complimentary shuttle transports you just 30 minutes outside the city, where you will be whisked away to elevated rainforest treetop boardwalks. We recommend arriving early in the morning to enjoy this tranquil wilderness before the crowds arrive.

Return to Canada Place and immerse yourself in the natural splendour of Stanley Park. Here, you can cycle along the famous seawall and admire the majestic, towering totem poles.

Later, step back in time as you wander the charming cobblestone streets of historic Gastown, stopping to watch the famous steam clock perform its unique whistle.

Day 3

Optional Victoria Day Trip

The premier destination for whale watching is Victoria, nestled on the shores of Vancouver Island. You can board a scenic floatplane to drink in the magnificent aerial vistas before exploring the historic city and embarking on an unforgettable marine wildlife safari. Whilst in Victoria, a visit to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens is highly recommended, where you can lose yourself amongst acres of immaculate landscaping and vibrant floral displays.

Alternatively, if you prefer to base yourself on the mainland, exhilarating whale watching excursions can also be enjoyed directly from downtown Vancouver. Simply let us know your preference, and our team will gladly pre-book these experiences to perfect your itinerary.

Day 4

Vancouver

Board a charming mini-ferry across False Creek to reach the bustling Granville Island Public Market, a sensory haven where you can taste exceptional local delicacies, from gourmet cheeses to freshly baked pastries. Spend your afternoon browsing beautifully handmade Canadian crafts, whilst enjoying the vibrant waterfront buskers who bring the bustling boardwalk to life with their colourful performances. We recommend the Granville Market Foodie Tour to sample iconic treats.

Day 5

Vancouver to Seattle

Board your comfortable coach transfer at Waterfront Station for a beautifully scenic drive southward, relaxing with premium onboard amenities as the changing coastal landscapes roll past. This journey takes around 5.5 hours so sit back and relax as you take in the views of the Pacific Northwest, optionally if you would prefer to travel by train you can take the Amtrak Cascades, with its coastline rails overlooking the scenic journey. After crossing the international border, you will arrive directly into downtown Seattle by afternoon, perfectly placed and ready to explore this legendary musical city.

Stay in the wonderfully located Warwick Seattle or the sophisticated, Nordic-inspired Hotel Ändra. For a touch of luxury, upgrade to the sleek Thompson Seattle or choose the iconic Edgewater Hotel—the city's only over-water property, offering unparalleled views right on the vibrant waterfront.

Day 6

Seattle

Ascend the futuristic Space Needle to step onto its thrilling glass floor and drink in stunning, 360-degree panoramic views of the mountain horizons, Puget Sound, and Mount Rainier. Right next door, you can marvel at the vibrant, mind-bending blown-glass exhibits that fill the spectacular Chihuly Garden and Glass where brilliant artwork blends seamlessly with lush greenery.

Day 7

Seattle

Dive into the energetic chaos of Pike Place Market to watch the famous fishmongers playfully throw the catch of the day across the stalls. Grab a fresh coffee near the site of the original coffee shops, explore the quirky vendor stalls, and cap off your day by embarking on a romantic sunset cruise across the scenic waters of Puget Sound.

Day 8

Today, take in last minute souvenir shopping before flying home from Seattle.

Why stop at the shoreline? Extend your spectacular holiday by boarding a luxury cruise ship right from Seattle’s port. Sail past majestic glaciers, spot breaching whales, and explore historic gold-rush towns on a breathtaking seven-night voyage through Alaska's Inside Passage.
