Day 1

Transatlantic flight to Vancouver - transfer independently to your hotel to check-in.

Hotel: Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre or similar

Day 2

Vancouver is a destination with a rich history – over the years, it’s developed an eclectic personality.  Go for the galleries, boutiques, public markets and restaurants of every flavour. While you’re here, be sure to visit vibrant Chinatown and Stanley Park, with its 1000 acres of forests, gardens, lakes and lawns in the heart of the city.

Day 3

This morning you will check out of your hotel and transfer independently to the port, to embark on the Holland America Zuiderdam for your Panama Canal cruise.

Astoria, Oregon

The town of Astoria nestles into the southern bank of the Columbia River, one bridge ride away from Washington State. Cruise visitors can climb the spiral steps of Astoria Column for a fantastic view of the town, the river and the surrounding countryside. Once you’ve climbed down, you can walk or ride a trolley along the river.

San Francisco, California

With cable cars that "climb halfway to the stars," this is everybody's favourite city by the bay. Alcatraz, Nob Hill, Lombard Street and Fisherman’s Wharf – of course you've heard of them all. But there’s a friendly atmosphere here too, that you really must experience first-hand. Make the most of the great museums and galleries here – this is a cultural hub.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

There’s a classic Mexico that you need to experience, and it can be found in Cabo. From shimmering beaches to scenic vistas, it serves as the perfect relaxing stopover during your trip. Visit Las Playitas for a series of mini beaches that can be found hidden in weathered coves.

Huatulco, Mexico

Everything you ever wanted in a seaside resort can be found here – warm sun, sandy beaches and nine beautiful bays lapped by clear blue seas. Explore the nearby caducifolia jungles which can be found teeming with birdlife and the nesting grounds of endangered sea turtles.

Puerto Chiapas, Mexico

Puerto Chiapas is the Pacific gateway to the Mayan world. Just north of the Guatemalan border on southern Mexico's Pacific Coast, the port is the starting point for excursions to the ruins at Izapa. Founded around 1500 BCE, Izapa is noted for its large, intricately carved ‘Tree of Life’ stone.

Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica

The city of Puerto Caldera, on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, has a number of national parks that are easily accessible. There’s plenty to explore here - just to the south, Carara is a mecca for those seeking sightings of the colourful birdlife. Poas Volcano is inland and rises to nearly 9,000 feet and Barra Honda contains a series of limestone caves.

Fuerte Amador, Panama

The Amador area is a southern suburb of Panama City, gateway to the canal and a travel destination in its own right. Cruise visitors shouldn't miss the shopping and dining on Flamengo Island, the Frank Gehry-designed Museum of Biodiversity (once it’s complete), and Panama City's UNESCO World Heritage site, which includes Panama Viejo and Casco Viejo.

Cartagena, Colombia

Be sure to walk the deeply textured alleyways that pass through some of the best-preserved colonial neighbourhoods of the Americas. When you're ready to switch up the landscape, there are beaches ready to hand. Boca Grande is busy and close to the city, and Playa Blanca is south across the bay and quieter. Both are great for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic weather.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Half Moon Cay is a picturesque area that’s home to stingrays, secluded beaches and great attractions for kids. This is one of the more popular destinations on a Caribbean itinerary and with good reason.

Day 23

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Arrive in Fort Lauderdale at approximately 7am this morning, where you will disembark your cruise.

There is an abundance of things to see and do in the Fort Lauderdale area. Visit the newly redesigned Fort Lauderdale Beach and cafes, stroll the historic River walk, shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard or venture to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.

Hotel: Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina or similar

Day 24

After checking out of your hotel, transfer independently to Miami Airport for your return flight home.
