Cascade Gardens

Wedding from £1,110

Escape the crowds in Banff at the Cascade Gardens

A stunning oasis set just a few moments from downtown Banff. Featuring terraced gardens and quaint pathways through the flora, it’s a picturesque garden setting for any romantic wedding.

Wedding Features

  • Bridal bouquet and grooms buttonhole
  • Sparkling wine (for clients to enjoy at their hotel)
  • Transportation to wedding venue (with wedding planner, a people carrier or Jeep Laredo)
  • Coordination and attendance by wedding planner

More Information

If you’re seeking a secluded and unique location, Cascade Gardens really is one of the most beautiful. Often missed by tourists, this manicured landscape combines the charm of an English garden with the rugged beauty of Banff’s mountainous scenery. There’s a little cover if you need shade or shelter from the weather, as well as easy access to the charming town of Banff itself.

In the summer months (June to September), this garden setting really comes to life. There are no steep walks or long distances, so it’s ideal for everyone. All guests would be standing, although there are a few small seating areas within the gazebos. This venue accommodates a maximum of 20 guests – we recommend opting for a summer wedding here, but the gardens are open all year round and would provide an equally intimate setting in the winter.

Wedding Days and Times

Weddings performed Monday to Saturday (depending on availability)

Additional Information

Legally you could get married the same day as you arrive! However, we recommend you have a couple of days to get used to any time change and orient yourselves. We will send you the necessary forms before you arrive in town and submit them to the Bureau for you. We will set up an appointment to take you to get your license when you arrive.

Winter weddings

We suggest having two pair of shoes – one outdoor pair (these can be white fur boots or any type of shoes which are easy to walk in on snow) and an indoor pair which can be worn for photographs, ceremony, reception etc.  We suggest bringing a fur cape or wrap if you are planning to do an outdoor ceremony or photographs outdoors. Alternatively you can wear a winter coat and remove it for the ceremony or photographs. We also suggest bringing some gloves.  During all seasons, mountain weather is known for its unpredictability so we always suggest checking the weather forecast prior to arrival to check the current weather trends so your guests can dress accordingly.
