Trans-Canadian Adventure
Make one of the world's great journeys, travelling from the Pacific Coast to the Canadian east. Starting in Vancouver, you'll take the ferry to Vancouver Island and the city of Victoria before heading back to the mainland to cross the Rockies, stopping at mountain resorts like Whistler, Kamloops and Banff. Then it's aboard The Canadian for a three-night rail trip to Toronto and the Niagara Falls.

- Tour the sights of Vancouver like Stanley Park, with its totem pole collection, the historic Gastown district, Chinatown and English Bay. Next you'll take a ferry across the Strait of Georgia to arrive at Vancouver Island to stay in British Columbia's capital Victoria for two nights. This elegant city feels quite British and you'll take a tour that takes in the impressive Parliament, the Inner Harbour and Bastion Square before an evening at a local restaurant.

- Day 3 - Victoria
- This morning you'll enjoy breakfast at Butchart Gardens, a world-renowned botanical centre where you learn about these 55-acre gardens with one of the resident horticulturalists. The rest of the day is yours to see some more of Victoria independently. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride or perhaps head to the ocean for a tall ship cruise or whalewatching trip. In the evening there is an optional walking tour of Old Chinatown followed by a sumptuous dinner at a local Chinese restaurant.
- Hotel: Inn at Laurel Point
- Day 4 - Victoria - Sea-to-Sky Highway - Whistler
- Travel to the north of the island, stopping at the coastal town of Chemainus, noted for its murals, before taking the ferry to cross the Strait of Georgia to return to mainland British Columbia. Head to the mountain resort of Whistler along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, stopping en route at the spectacular Shannon Falls. Once in Whistler you can join a guided walk to introduce you to the town.
- Hotel: Delta Whistler Village Suites
- Day 5 - Whistler - Cache Creek - Kamloops
- Drive further into the Rockies, taking the scenic Duffy Lake Road across the Coast Mountains. You'll overnight in Kamloops and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
- Hotel: The Thompson Hotel
- Day 6 - Kamloops - Banff
- Travel through the thousand-year-old cedar rainforest of Mount Revelstoke National Park and across Rogers Pass into Glacier National Park. - Hotel: Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge
- Day 7 - Banff
- Tour Banff spots like Tunnel Mountain Drive, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls and see the area's weathered rock 'hoodoos'. There will be an evening talk about Rock Mountain wildlife with a local nature expert.
