Day 1

ARRIVE VANCOUVER (2 nights)
Welcome to cosmopolitan Vancouver! A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to greet you and answer your questions. Join us at 6 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Day 2

VANCOUVER SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
Explore Vancouver’s highlights including Chinatown, historic Gastown and Stanley Park and view the park’s famous totem poles. Then stop at Robert Held Art Glass for a glass-blowing demonstration. This afternoon is at leisure for you to pursue your own interests. In the evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant. (FB/HD)

Day 3

VANCOUVER - ROCKY MOUNTAINEER - KAMLOOPS
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train for an unforgettable daylight rail journey through British Columbia. Travel through the fertile fields of the Fraser River Valley and alongside the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before entering Fraser Canyon. Following the Thompson River, arrive at historic Kamloops. (CB/L)

Day 4

KAMLOOPS - ROCKY MOUNTAINEER - JASPER (2 nights)
Back on board the train, continue through the impressive scenery of British Columbia and the dramatic mountain landscape of Alberta to the delightful alpine town of Jasper. After dinner, enjoy a fun and informative lecture by a local expert on the area’s abundant wildlife. (CB/L/BD)

Day 5

JASPER SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
This morning, enjoy a narrated walk along Maligne Canyon, one of the Canadian Rockies’ most beautiful gorges with spectacular rock formations and waterfalls. The rest of the day is at leisure in Jasper. (FB)

Day 6

JASPER - COLUMBIA ICEFIELD - ICEFIELDS PARKWAY - BANFF (2 nights)
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you travel along the Icefields Parkway. At the Columbia Icefield, board an Ice Explorer for an exciting expedition on the massive Athabasca Glacier. More gorgeous landscapes await you as you head for the quintessential alpine resort of Banff. (FB/D)

Day 7

BANFF SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
Explore Banff, Bow Falls, the viewpoint of Surprise Corner along Tunnel Mountain Drive and the wind-shaped hoodoos overlooking Bow Valley before boarding the Banff Gondola. Ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird’s eye view of six mountain ranges. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (FB)

Day 8

BANFF - LAKE LOUISE - SUN PEAKS
Journeying through the temperate rainforest of Mount Revelstoke National Park arrive into Sun Peaks and your lodge surrounded by three ski resort mountains. After dinner, wander over to the alpine village just steps outside your lodge in search of a nightcap at the many cafes, pubs, or lounges. (FB/D)

Day 9

SUN PEAKS - VICTORIA (2 nights)
Travel back to the Pacific coast and across the Strait of Georgia by ferry to Vancouver Island. On arrival in Victoria, an orientation tour introduces you to the beautiful Inner Harbour, the ornate Parliament Buildings and Bastion Square. (FB)

Day 10

VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING
Enjoy breakfast at the famous Butchart Gardens and learn about the gardens during a brief talk before exploring the wonderful floral displays. Later, visit a quaint cidery and enjoy tasting famous alcoholic cider accompanied by artisan breads. After a private tour of the orchards and a stop at the brandihouse, join your hosts for a ’Be My Guest’ Farewell Dinner al fresco featuring unique dishes created with apples and cider. (FB/BG)
