Overview

Arctic Safari is a wildlife encounter second to none, with endless photo opportunities and experiences. On this expedition you will be exploring vast areas of Canada's last remaining wilderness, from the Arctic "Serengeti" the great tundra plains known as “The Barren Lands”, through "The Land of Little Sticks" and finally down to the rugged Hudson Bay coastline, home of the “Great White Bears”. Every once in a while we come up with an adventure that almost sounds too good to be true. Your travels will take you over 20,000 sq km’s of the wildest regions in the Arctic, home to wolves, caribou, moose, three species of bears (polar, black & grizzly), Arctic & coloured fox, wolverine, beaver, pine marten and countless bird life all set on a kaleidoscope of spectacular fall colors. If that is not enough try finding some energy to stay up for the finest light show on earth as we live in the best Aurora viewing zone in the Arctic

Best of all there are no frozen fingers or seized camera gear to deal with which is typical if coming in the traditional winter months. Listening to the spine tingling thrill of a howling wolf pack, while mesmerized by the dancing Aurora, is life changing. This adventure will touch you like no other experience can. Of course it can't hurt that you have just finished a savoury meal
at our Seal River Heritage Lodge and you're lounging outside by a camp fire sipping a glass of wine watching the northern lights!

From the rugged cosy Caribou camp on Schmok Lake to the Arctic luxury of our Seal River Lodge we will pamper you with finest service, guides, accommodations, and cuisine found south of the Arctic Circle - truly the trip of a lifetime.
