Elmhirst’s Resort is located 90 minutes east of Toronto on the north shore of Rice Lake. This unique colony of lakeside cottages began as a humble fishing camp for American families, developed a European market as well as creating outdoor adventure opportunities for free spirits.

• An extraordinary colony of self-catering cottages nestled in the warm glow of nature on the shores of Rice Lake. The spacious two bedroom cottages feature full kitchens with microwave oven, full fridge and stove, coffee maker and toaster, counter space and dining area. These cottages also feature wood burning, open hearth fireplaces, colour television, VCR, CD stereo and telephone.

• Ladies and men alike will enjoy the new spa services offered at the Resort. Tui Na deep tissue massages range from a 20 minute head and neck to a one hour massage. Manicures and pedicures Stress Reliever Sport Pedicure also available.

• The Hearthside Room with large lakeside windows overlooking the activities on Rice Lake features Black Angus beef raised on site, along with traditional fare, presented in an artful and appetizing manner. Sunday Brunch is a local favourite with breakfast items, carved roasts, hot table, pasta station, crepes and scrumptious desserts. Brunch is a great way to celebrate with family.
• The Wild Blue Yonder Pub features local breweries on tap, flavoured slushies, wine, a good selection of single malt scotch and traditional drinks.
