DAY 2 - TORONTO & NIAGARA FALLS EXCURSION.
We spend the morning exploring cosmopolitan Toronto, riding to the top of the CN Tower and travelling up University Avenue to view Ontario's Parliament buildings, Queen's Park and the city's museum row. We then move on to one of the world's great natural wonders - Niagara Falls. Viewed from afar they are spectacular enough, but you will enjoy a close up and personal experience of the falls as the Maid of the Mist cruise boat journeys to the very base of the torrent. Browse the shops and galleries of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to the Sutton Palace Hotel for dinner. (B,D)
DAY 3 - TORONTO - OTTAWA.
We travel north along the shores of Lake Ontario to Canada's first capital, Kingston. Your orientation tour will show you the numerous historic buildings, churches, picturesque neighbourhoods and 19th century fortifications. We then move on to Ottawa, the nation's capital, and visit the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Canada's largest and most popular cultural institution. For dinner, you can choose from a selection of excellent restaurants in Ottawa before checking into the Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel.

The first French settlement in North America, Quebec City is reminiscent of a medieval European village.
