Fly from the UK to Calgary and transfer to Banff for an overnight stay before you aboard the world famous Rocky Mountaineer for two days, travelling by rail across the spectacular Canadian Rockies. You will enjoy RedLeaf service, which include breakfast and lunch selections served at your seat by your onboard attendant. Arrive in Vancouver for 2 nights and experience this vibrant city before embarking on an 7 night Alaskan cruise on the Celebrity Century.

Day 1

Fly UK to Calgary
Arrive in Calgary and take the scheduled transfer to Banff

Day 2

Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops
On board the Rocky Mountaineer train, you will experience a spectacular rail excursion from Banff to Kamloops. This unique daylight service allows you to view some of the most spectacular sights in Western Canada. The route departs the Rocky Mountains through the Kicking Horse Pass. By late afternoon, you are in the arid ranch land of interior British Columbia, where you disembark for the night. Upon arrival in Kamloops, the evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 3

Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver.
You will set out on the last leg of your spectacular rail experience today. The Rocky Mountaineer takes you through the “cowboy country” ranchlands and along the rushing torrents of the Fraser and Thompson Rivers. You are now truly in pioneer territory and en route you can
listen to the history and legends of the West while enjoying all the comforts of your luxury train. The last stretch takes you through lush farmlands and past historic towns to Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver. Breakfast and lunch included.

Todays is yours to explore this vibrant city at leisure.

Day 5

Vancouver / Alaska Cruise
Today you check out of your hotel and independently transfer to the Vancouver cruise terminal where you board the Celebrity Century and are welcomed by the crew who will be your hosts for the next 7 nights. Familiarize yourself with amenities of the ship and watch the sun set over the water from the wide decks of this magnificent craft. Overnight on board the Celebrity Century. Dinner included.

Day 6

Inside Passage
The ship weighs anchor and sets sail this morning for one of the most famously beautiful passages in all the world. Just beyond the deck rails, the gems of Alaska are laid open in a spellbinding vista, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. Along the way it is common to view whales and sea lions at play along the coastlines as well as a near countless assortment of marine bird life.

Day 7

Icy Strait Point
Eighty kilometres west of Juneau and at the mouth of Glacier Bay, lies the historic Icy Strait Point. Travelers have the unique opportunity to experience Tlingit culture, superior wildlife viewing opportunities and years of Alaskan history on optional excursions offered by Celebrity Cruises. Watch the sun set against the dramatic landscape as the ship anchors off the point for the night. Overnight on board the Celebrity Century. Full board included.

Day 8

Hubbard Glacier
Hubbard Glacier is the one glacier in the world that does not move at a glacial pace. In 1986, Hubbard Glacier - the largest tidewater glacier on the North American continent - moved an average of just under 2 metres per hour. Keep a watchful eye as the ship sails through the Yakutat Bay as the geological history unfolds before you. Overnight on board the Celebrity Century. Full board included.

Day 9

Port of Juneau
Where the legacy of the tin pan prospector meets eco-adventure tourism of tomorrow would be a good way to describe the charms of Alaska’s capital city. Here the pioneering spirit lives on in an interesting mix of cosmopolitan chic and frontier ruggedness. There are many places to visit in port including Alaska State Museum and its exquisite collection of Russian Orthodox and Gold Rush relics, or take advantage of optional excursions offered by Celebrity Cruises.

Day 10

Port of Ketchikan
Today you cruise down the coast to arrive in the town of Ketchikan - the ancestral home of the Tlingit tribe. This community with strong ties to its aboriginal past is also the departure point for Celebrity Cruise’s optional seaplane excursions into the Misty Fjords National Monument and its 8 900 km2 of pristine wilderness. Ketchikan also boasts the world’s largest collection of totem poles you can explore independently , or you may visit the Saxman Native Village, Totem
Bight and Totem Heritage Center.

Day 11

Inside Passage
Today the ship slowly retraces its voyage along the Alaskan and British Columba coastlines. Watch how the landscape slowly and subtly changes as you descend into the more southern and warmer climate of the Pacific Northwest temperate area.

Day 12

Vancouver
Early this morning you arrive in the port of Vancouver and disembark the Celebrity Century. You transfer individually to Vancouver’s International Airport in time to check in for your return flight.
